The public is invited to a free concert on the Downtown Square this Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

 The city of Ocala is urging citizens to register their contact information for a new, enhanced citizen emergency notification system.

 July is Recreation and Parks Month and the city of Ocala has been conducting a number of activities to celebrate the observance. The activities, presented by the Recreation Department, have been designed to get the public reconnected with the opportunities the local recreation and parks system has to offer.
