Congestion Management System
The TPO is in the process of updating the Congestion Management System (CMS). The purpose of the CMS update is to identify operational improvements in various areas to improve traffic flow. The CMS will evaluate approximately 65 signalized intersections on five major roadways (SR 200, SE/SW 17th Street, US 41, SW 27th Avenue and portions of US 441 in Ocala and Belleview). The evaluation will review existing problems and identify improvements and/or signal changes to improve traffic flow.
