Residential Bank Draft Program
OEU's Bank Draft Program is a convenient way of paying your utility bill each month to eliminate check writing, save on postage and your valuable time.
Enroll in the Bank Draft Program by completing the authorization agreement.

Then, attach your check with the word "VOID" written across it, and return the check and agreement to: Ocala Electric Utility, Citizen Service Center, 201 SE 3rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34471.
To be eligible for this program, customers must have an excellent payment history and use a financial institution in the United States. After your agreement has been accepted and processed by your bank, anticipate a 30-day delay for the first debit. The first bill you receive following your enrollment will not be paid through the Bank Draft Program, so you need to pay your bill either online or mailing it.
In subsequent months, you will receive a utility bill that will state "Do Not Pay" because your account will automatically be drafted on the due date and will show when and exactly how much your account will be drafted. Any adjustments or credits to a bill will be reflected on the following month's bill.
If you terminate your account with Ocala Electric Utility, the final bill will be drafted unless you inform us not to draft the final payment. If an "insufficient funds notice" is received, the city's non-sufficient funds regulations will apply.
