Ricky A. Horst
City Manager

The Ocala City Manager is Ricky A. Horst, who assumed the position in September 2008. Prior to coming to Ocala, Horst served nine years as the city manager in South Jordan, Utah. He also has served as city manager in Lynn Haven and Marianna, Florida as well as in Santa Clara, Utah. Additionally, Horst has served as a Parks and Recreation Director, Public Works Director, and Utility Director.


Catherine Cameron

Catherine Cameron was appointed Chief of Staff in charge of Support Services in December, 2008.  She is responsible for the Human Resource and Risk Management Department, Information Technology Department, Fleet and Facilites Management, the Public Information Office and special projects.
