Central Maintenance
Services Central Maintenance Services oversees all major maintenance functions of water and wastewater treatment facilities, water repump and 108 sewer lift stations, as well as reclaimed water facilities.
WRF#2's maintenance facility and staff perform preventive and corrective maintenance on non-stationary equipment. There is a movable 2-ton hoist to unload heavy equipment and parts. There is also a tool room where hardware, power tools, and other maintenance equipment is stored. Stationary shop tools, such as a lathe, welder with wire gun attachments, grinding wheels, vises, and parts washers, are in the open shop area. In the side office are operation & maintenance manuals , preventive maintenance hardcopy records, and contact logs. A computer utilizing a special maintenance management program issues work orders and related preventive maintenance tasks.
