The Survey Division provides three dimensional location data of existing conditions at ground level and often below ground level in areas that require engineering design for various construction projects required by any of the many City Departments. These projects can include: new roads, sidewalks, water lines, sewer lines, and stormwater flood relief. The Survey Division also performs boundary surveys for the acquisition of property for new roads, recreation sites, and the various water and sewer and stormwater projects including the disposition of surplus City property.
